Donations & Funding
Hasbury Community Church receives no regular grants or external funding, though we have recieved helpful grants in the past for building works. Donations and funding mostly takes place in house. All money needed to run the activities and facilities at the church and to fund the various projects that we support comes from two sources: –
Donations and Funding Sources
- By far the most significant source of funding is the donations made by the members and supporters of the church, many of whom subscribe to Gift Aid, which adds tax relief to their donations. These donations account for around 90% of our income.
- Income from hiring out rooms at the church. Various local groups hire rooms for regular or one-off events. The income from this is used to go towards the on-going programme of maintaining and improving the buildings. These donations account for about 10% of our income.
